Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Katy Perry surprises us with doing a kid friendly version of her song “Hot N Cold” on Sesame Street with the iconic character Elmo.

The red little monster is quick to dismiss Katy when she shows up decked out in a bride’s veil and a sixties inspired bright yellow bathing suit and wants to play dress up. “Well, um.” He says before giggling and running away! “Oh Elmo! We used to be friends!” pouts Katy.

Elmo and the songstress are then seen running through a cartoon world full of distortion mirrors and ferris wheels. All the while Perry is singing about how Elmo and herself used to be such good friends but now it seems he is always giving her the run around. “I just want to play tag with you!” He confesses at the end and runs off. To which Perry rolls her eyes and follows him.
