In what may have been one of the most highly anticipated episodes of cult smash “Glee”, the Britney Spears episode brought the show to new heights with six phenomenal music numbers (the last of which was actually a Paramore song). Check out all six below!
BRITTANY S. PIERCE – “I’M A SLAVE 4 U”:
Fan favorite Heather Morris takes on Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U.” Check out her killer dance moves, some might even say she even out did Britney in this one!
BRITTANY & SANTANA – “ME AGAINST THE MUSIC”:
Is it just us or does Heather Morris look like a carbon copy of Britney in this video? Everything from the choreography to the strung out hair, the resemblance is crazy in Glee’s rendition of “Me Against the Music.” Poor Naya Rivera, (who plays Santana) was surely upstaged by Morris, but did her best to hold her own as music icon Madonna.
RACHEL BERRY – “HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME”:
ARTIE ABRAMS – “STRONGER”:
Heartbroken Artie (played by Kevin McHale) takes on a cheesy rendition of Britney’s empowering “Stronger” and leads a handful of dancing football players, all from his offroad equipped wheelchair complete with massive inflatable tires.
NEW DIRECTIONS FT. MR SCHUESTER – “TOXIC”:
Arguably the best performance in the episode, the entire New Directions club puts a new spin on “Toxic” and reinvents the song with a folk feel complete with great vocals and great dancing! No doubt, Matthew Morrison stole the spotlight in this video.
RACHEL BERRY – “THE ONLY EXCEPTION”:
In what many are calling the song that upstaged Britney’s entire episode, Lea Michele belts out a rousing rendition of Paramore’s killer ballad “The Only Exception.”
