It was only a matter of time before MTV and Ashton Kutcher brought back the hidden camera television series that rose to fame in 2003 by pranking Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.
In big news revealed by Deadline’s Nikki Finke on Tuesday, Justin Bieber is slated to host the revival of “Punk’d” that Ashton Kutcher’s production company Katalyst is working to bring back on MTV.
Finke reported:
“I hear Bieber was identified as a new host in the summer with talks going on ever since. No premiere date has been set but the new Punk’d has been quietly gearing up for production and will probably launch next year.”
If Twitter standing is any indication, Bieber and Kutcher equal a powerhouse TV combination with over 11.3 million followers between the two of them.
