After so many years of the blue and green TV background that everyone’s known to grow and love, the internationally recognized set of E! News was due for an extreme makeover, and what better time than in tandem with the expansion of the program to one hour?

The new, larger, and more HD-er set made its television debut Monday while Ryan was away on American Idol duty, but today Ryan finally got to kick the tires, and break in the redesigned home of the new E! News. It’s so puuurty!
