New Music from Kanye West, Jay-Z & Elly Jackson of La Roux [AUDIO]
It’s just like Kanye West to keep himself on our radar all day, every day, so when we heard new music from the Louis Vuitton don after his new CD had barely been out for 24 hours we just smiled and listened in pure satisfaction. West tag teams the new track “That’s My Bitch” with long-time mentor Jay-Z, together inviting La Roux frontwoman Elly Jackson to handle the song’s chorus.
The track is rumored to be off of West and Jay-Z’s much anticipated joint album Watch The Throne which will have a 2011 release date.
“This is another level of that recording,” Jay-Z told MTV News last week. “Because Kanye, I’ve seen him — really he’s like a brother to me — I’ve seen him from the beginning to where he is now. And to see him as a producer and to see how he’s growing as a producer and as an artist, for me, on another level, it’s enjoyable. I’m watching the guy that I pretty much mentored become his own guy, with his own opinion. It’s fantastic.”
The duo recorded some of the album in France last month and will reportedly finish the album soon in Australia.
