Reactions are pouring in for the debut of Britney Spears new music video “Hold It Against Me,” the first single off of her upcoming album Femme Fatale. After a series of teaser clips had been released leading up to its premiere, the highly anticipated music video debuted on MTV Thursday night before a new episode of Jersey Shore. The video itself is nothing short of spectacular with several sexy costume changes for Spears, a series of provocative dance numbers, and an awe-inspiring futuristic set. As one source from the HIAM set had stated, it is “a 21st Century ‘Rocky Horror,’ space age fantasia of dance.”
Spears, who has not released an album since 2008’s Circus, has been hard at work putting the last minute touches on the seventh studio album. She tweeted in early December that, “I’m almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!” Femme Fatale is set to release March 25, 2011.
