Though it’s one of the most coveted 13.5 inches in the world, the Oscar statuette that little Lara Egan dropped after her dad won it for “The King’s Speech” might as well have been a plastic Ken doll.

The 15-month-old, who is daughter to the film’s co-producer Simon Egan, lost her grip on the golden trophy and it quickly crashed to the floor.

The Daily Mail reports the statue sustained several dents and the gold plating on its chest had been chipped off, bringing the Hollywood pool party to a screeching halt.

“I saw that horrific moment where the statue just fell and it didn’t fall on the grass – it fell on the concrete,” Egan told The Daily Mail. “The horror was evident on everyone’s face as they all went, ‘oh s***’.”

Luckily, The Academy has an action plan for these kinds of incidents, and quickly sent out a agent with white gloves to take away the damaged statuette and replace it with a brand new one.
