Josh Duhamel Leading 2-Mile Run To Raise Money for Japan [AUDIO]
Actor Josh Duhamel called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Thursday to talk about his efforts to raise money for Japan, his role in the star-studden film “New Year’s Eve,” and his wife Fergie‘s appearance on “American Idol” last week.
Last year, actor Josh teamed up with the American Red Cross to raise money for earthquake-stricken Haiti — this year, in the wake of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami disaster, the compassionate actor is doing it all over again.
“When this happened in Japan, I was looking at it thinking, ‘oh my God, I’ve never seen anything like this,’” said Josh over the phone. “In a lot of ways it’s worse than the things that happened in Haiti.”
Josh is leading a two-mile run on Sunday, March 27th in Santa Monica, CA. Registration for the run starts 10a.m., with the run kicking off at 11a.m. Visit the official website at ReliefRun.com!
“We’re trying to do what we can to help the people of Japan and empower the youth of L.A.” Josh added.
