He recounts the events leading to “Give Me Everything” saying, “I’ve known Jennifer for three years now, and the record came about through a mutual friend in Danny Dominguez and Red One (Producer).” He continued, “It’s an amazing global record, it’s taken over Italy, France, London, the United States. It’s an amazing opportunity to be able work with Jennifer Lopez, and be able to study her, and watch how hard she works, and apply it. Its priceless!”

Pitbull reflected on the “American Idol” experience during his more recent visit, “When you sit there in person you see how people are pouring their heart out. They have dedicated their life to be able to be on that stage it’s an amazing feeling. Very empowering and emotional. Especially when Karen got cut…it hurt me.”
