Actor Christian Slater joined us in studio Wednesday morning to chat on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” about his new Fox comedy series “Breaking In,” and his transition from what Ryan dubbed as “bad boy to dad boy.”

Now, 41-years-old, or as Slater describes himself, “two Jacksons and a Washington,” Christian Slater’s encountered numerous ups and downs throughout his life saying, “we all do things in our youth that if we had the knowledge and experience that comes with age and with wisdom obviously we’d do things different.”

Adding, “if I could have a do over on a couple things, sure, that’d be fantastic. But that’s not how life works, so you look at the mistakes and some of the choices and only through self analysis and a little guidance can you get the opportunity to make some other choices.” Christian also touched upon how he’s, “grateful for a lot of the moments that weren’t some of my proudest, moments that were before I had children.”

Christian went on to describe his new comedy series which debuts tonight on Fox, as “quick.” Explaining, “it’s about a security company that tests security from anything you can think of…if you’ve got something you’re trying to keep safe-me and my team will keep it safe.” Adding that “me” refers to his character Oz, who he describes as “a clever guy”…and more specifically as “if Charlie Sheen and Jack Nicholson had a child, Oz would be their child.”
