Taylor Lautner Returns To Big Screen with New Trailer for ‘Abduction’ [VIDEO]
We know him as shirtless werewolf Jacob Black in the “Twilight” series, and Taylor Swift’s on-screen #13 boyfriend in “Valentine’s Day,” but we’ve yet to see Taylor Lautner take on a film in which he’s the solo leading role…until “Abduction,” that is!
Taylor plays teenager Nathan who discovers his life is not what it seems when he finds his baby picture on a missing person’s website, causing his character to, “inside, feel like I’m a stranger in my own life.”
The role resembles a Matt Damon‘esque on-the-run action/thriller which Taylor, in the trailer at least, proves he’s capable of holding down.
The film, directed by John Singleton (“Boyz n the Hood,” “2 Fast 2 Furious”), also stars Maria Bello, Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina and Lily Collins.
