10 Things To Expect in Season 4 of ‘True Blood’

The wait is over! It’s time to “show your true colors” this Sunday with the return of smash hit HBO series True Blood! When we last left Sookie, she had transported to the ethereal world of fairies, unsure of where she was and what was next to come. Bill had vanquished his longtime nemesis, Russell, and his relationship with Sookie had turned sour. And, Vampire Eric suffered from amnesia, leaving many to wonder – is this the new Eric?
With an explosive and exciting season ahead for viewers, we decide to compile the Top 10 Things To Expect In Season 4.
Now that Sookie (Anna Paquin) is single, since splitting from vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) last season, viewers can expect things to heat up between her and dead sexy vamp Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).
This season the show has added five strong female characters to the mix.
-Marnie (Fiona Shaw)- a powerful witch
-Luna (Janina Govankar)- a shape shifter
-Portia (Courtney Ford)- a lawyer
-Katerina (Alexandra Breckinridge)- a member of Marnie’s Wiccan group
-Naomi (Vedette Lim)- a sexy cage fighter
Vampire Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Hoyt (Jim Parrack) are living together and dealing with the pressures of cohabiting. The two struggle with balancing the varied needs of a vampire-human couple.
Last season’s sharp tongued Tara (Rutina Wesley) is now a changed woman. Fans can expect a calmer and more serene Tara this season. She has started going to a therapist who has taught her to love herself and put needs first.
This season Bill (Stephen Moyer) is trying to clear up the mess caused by former Mississippi vampire king Russell Edgington. Bill is on a mission in Season 4 to convince the humans the vamps are not trying to eat them and the two groups can coexist together.
Wolfman Alcide (Joe Manganiello) wrestles with the beast inside of him this season. Fans can expect no shortage of steamy, shirtless scenes with the sexy werewolf.
Sookie finds out fast that her fairy godmother and friends are not as innocent as they may seem.
Rumor has it that Witches are the main villains stirring up trouble in Bon Temps.
Show sources say fans can expect a HUGE twist this season that will change every character’s storyline.
Season 4 promises something for everyone; plenty of comedy, horror, action and romance!
Catch True Blood this Sunday, June 26th, 9pm on HBO.
