They’ve long been known as man’s best friend, serving as both treasured companion and trusted protector for many men, but this pint sized canine shows bravery beyond his size in a surprising video of a robbery in Altadena, CA.

L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies have released the following surveillance video of a feisty chihuahua barking, clawing and eventually chasing off armed robbers of a smoke shop who donned menacing masks and brandished a loaded rifle. The dog — named Paco — joined his owner on “Good Morning America” Monday and was commended for his bravery and given a red cape.
