‘True Blood‘ hottie Alexander Skarsgard ditches his familiar fangs and adopts a Navy Seal persona in the trailer for his new movie “Battleship.” Starring model-turned-actress Brooklyn Decker and hip-hop sensation Rihanna alongside Skarsgard, “Battleship” seems like a super high-intensity action film that combines the gigantic metallic aliens of “Transformers” and “Super 8,” with the military-fighting-aliens feel of “District 9.”

We wonder if “Battleship” will follow the same storyline as these other sci-fi action movies: one brave man befriends the terrorizing creature, understanding it’s desire to simply return to it’s home planet. Or, will man’s strength and courage help him to defeat the otherworldly thing, resulting in a huge triumph for humankind? We’re definitely curious! Sprinkled with a love story, “Battleship” promises to be a thrilling movie starring a cast of absolutely beautiful people. We can only hope that it delivers.
