Otto, short for Ottoman, was granted the title by the media as the “Fattest Cat In The World” – reaching 35 pounds at his heaviest. However, after Trish Greely took Otto under her care, the feline has relearned how to eat properly and lost over 6 pounds.

To put it in perspective, for a human weighing 500lbs – a weight loss of 6lbs of Otto is equivalent to a human losing over 100lbs. Due to his obesity, Otto also suffers from arthritis among other health concerns. However, with the new diet and exercise routine in place, he is bound to lose the weight in no time. Unfortunately for Otto (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), it seems that he will lose his title as “Fattest Cat In The World.” A small price to pay to live a healthier life.
