In case you didn’t hear Ryan’s “go-to karaoke song” on Thursday on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” listeners got a belting, off-tune rendition of Bobby Brown’s 80s hit “Roni.” Bobby Brown himself joined Ryan in singing a moving karaoke version of ‘Roni!’

The R&B singer reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1989 with his lovely serenade. From his second album Don’t Be Cruel, we can’t deny his or Ryan’s lyrics when they say: “She’s a special kind of girl that makes her daddy feel proud…found a tender roni and the roni is so right, I think I’m gonna love her for the rest of my life.”
