Listen To Coldplay’s (Really Good) New Single ‘Paradise’ [AUDIO]
It was just three months ago that Coldplay released “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall,” the first single from their long-anticipated new album Mylo Xyloto to mixed reviews. Now the celebrated British rock band have released the second single “Paradise” to overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans and critics who are saying it is a much better offering than “Every Teardrop.”
“Paradise is insanely good,” tweeted a fan Monday morning. “The drum/piano/voice verse is incredibly beautiful stuff. Buzzing for the full album.”

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” in June to talk about the new album and explain his inspiration for its songs.
“It could be someone being mean, or it could be someone being fantastic, or it could be something on the news, or anything that just makes you feel alive,” he told Ryan of his song-writing process.
The full album Mylo Xyloto is scheduled to hit stores and iTunes on October 24, but is available for pre-order through Coldplay.com which gives fans a free download of “Paradise” with every pre-order. Listen below:
COLDPLAY – “PARADISE” – LYRICS
Ohoohoooh
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
So she ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Every time she closed her eyes
Ohoohoooh
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from het reach
And the bullets catch in her teeth
Life goes on, gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear a waterfall
In the night, the stormy night,
She’d close her eyes
In the night, the stormy night,
Away she’d fly
And dreams of para- para- paradise
Para- para-paradise
Para- para-paradise
Ohoohoooh
She dreams of para- para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Ohoohoooh-ohoh
Lalalalalalala
So lying underneath the stormy skies
She’d say, ohoohoooh,
I know the sun will set to rise
This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Ohoohoooh
This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Ohoohoooh-ohoh
This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Ohoohoooh
