‘All Guys Are A**holes’ Author Reveals Why Only 16% Of Guys Are Jerks [AUDIO]
Amber Madison, author of “All Guys Are A**holes,” called into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” Thursday morning to reveal WHY men are jerks, why women WANT those jerks, and how to AVOID dating those jerks!
The relationship expert claims that her 18-question iPhone app that women can take, named “A-Hole Tester,” determines whether their hubby is a downright scumbag or a goody-good momma’s boy.
From over 1,000 guys surveyed in the US, she reveals about 16% of men are categorized as a**holes, or “south-holes.” These south-holes “…would cheat, lie about intentions…[have] friends before girlfriends, [and] do not care about the emotional well-being of the girls they’re involved with”!
On the opposite side of the spectrum, 21% of men are “true saints,” who greatly look over their needs to care for their girl and can even be “too nice.” In addition, about 30% of men are great guys, 20% are misguided, and 12% are scattered in the middle.
So, with all these statistics, what guy should a woman aim for? The author states that women should shoot for a guy in between the “true saints” and the “great guys.” She explains her reasoning because girls seem to have this misconstrued perception: “They only want sex, they don’t wanna have relationships, they hate commitment, and it’s just not true.”
While much of relationships aren’t exactly black and white, Amber urges women to look for men who are “self-sufficient, confident, [and] someone who wants to be with you but someone who doesn’t need you.” While much of women’s perceptions come from the media and dating advice books, she feels that there are enough guys out there who actually do want to get married, but women are looking in the wrong direction.
