Michael Trevino, star of “The Vampire Diaries,” stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Monday to tell the story behind a Twitter picture with Lady Gaga, and to talk about the new season of the hit CW television show.

Michael “met her [Lady Gaga] through some mutual friends, and she happened to be in Atlanta and we just hung out. We were at my apartment, and we were just hanging out.” While together Michael tweeted a photo of two pairs of shoes with the messge, “…Me and 7171…” which fans quickly pointed out the 1st letters and 7th letters of the alphabet being “G.A.G.A.”

The two were playing the game, Apples to Apples. Michael remembers pulling the card “absurd” from the game. He says, “Somebody in the pile that we were playing with put in ‘my bank account.’ So out of the six I had to choose, I forgot the rest, I chose ‘my bank account’ as what I thought would be absurd. And believe it or not, the person that threw that in was Gaga.” He continues saying, “She threw it in, and she kept busting up. She’s like, ‘I can’t believe this. I just got to do it. It has to happen.’”

Aside from hanging out with superstar celebrities Michael outlined his favorite TV shows like “Breaking Bad,” and discussed what we might expect from the next episode of the “The Vampire Diaries.” He says, “Everybody’s going to kind of come together in this episode. You see storylines, and there’s certain characters that only have scenes with one another, and in this episode five, everybody’s in scenes with everybody.”
