Carson Kressley Says ‘The Moral Of The Story Is Don’t Dress Like A Skittle’ [AUDIO]
“Dancing With The Stars” contestant Carson Kressley called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to chat about being voted off ‘DWTS’ this past week, his experience on the show, and what is next on his agenda.
A lot of people have been talking about Carson this past week on “Dancing With The Stars,” but it wasn’t his dancing ability that has got people talking. It was his simmering blue cheerleading outfit and short shorts! Unfortunately, the buzz was not enough to keep him on the show. Carson was the latest contestant to be sent home.
Carson had this to say about being voted off, “I guess the moral of the story is don’t dress like a Skittle.” He also added that he felt that the judges were a little hard on him saying, “Dancing is 50 percent technique, but it also has got to be fun.” Carson feels that he and his partner Anna Trebunskaya definitely entertained the audience. Although, he feels that they may have crashed and burned a little bit on the Jive Cheerleading routine, but Carson has no hard feelings.
“They are a great bunch of professionals and everybody from the producers to the hair people, the make-up people, the security guards, everybody over there does such a fantastic job, and embraced me from the very beginning. We got so much love and support and the great thing is I just got to go on and be me. I had a great time and I don’t regret anything, except maybe those shorts.”
With all the romance rumors that surround ‘DWTS,’ we asked Carson if he had any dirt. The only thing that Carson could confirm was that he did not sleep with his dance partner. However, he did admit that he originally would daydream about having Maksim Chmerkovskiy as a dance partner. Until he tried to physically pick him up one day and found out he was solid. “I could have never have flung him around like my nice little Russian partner,” Carson says.
Carson will be back on ‘DWTS’ for the big finale coming up Thanksgiving week, and says he will definitely be back for in the audience showing his support. Next on the agenda for Carson, “I am going to go back to my real job of designing clothes and making people over. I have a new collection coming out this spring and working on a new women’s style guide, if I didn’t ruin it with the Skittle outfit. I go back to being me!”
