Ryan Seacrest Surprises Struggling Teacher With Mortgage Money [AUDIO]
Jessica from Whittier says that as Christmas is approaching, she is worried that her husband might not be able to be with her and their three children. Her 10-year old son would love nothing more than for his Dad to be home with them for the holidays. He also dreams about having a Nintendo 3DS. Her daughter, also 10, dreams of having a good pair of shoes, such as Uggs or Toms.
Check out the letter Jessica wrote in to the ‘On Air With Ryan Seacrest’ staff:
This has been a rough year for my family. My husband is currently out of the country for immigration reasons. In order for him to be legal residenct and part of homeland security, they made him exit the US and he has to stay put until he is granted re-entry. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks, but now that Christmas is approaching, I’m starting to worry a little bit.
We have three wonderful kids. I’ve got my twins, Adrian and Arrianna, they’re 10. My other son, Aidan, is 5 months. With going back to being a single mom on single income, and paying the bills I feel very overwhelmed. I’ve had to cut back on so many things, I just don’t know what Christmas I can provide my kids.
My son’s dream is to have his Dad back, and also a Nintendo 3DS. My Daughter asks for simpler things like a pair of Toms and a pair of Uggs or a Hello Kitty bedspread.
If there is anything your radio station can help with would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Jessica
