Instead, in true fashion (pun intended) of his father’s brand Ralph Lauren, David and Lauren tied the knot in good ol’ Western style. 4. PAUL McCARTNEY & NANCY SHEVELL
Beatles legend Paul McCartney tied the knot for the third time with Nancy Shevell in October in another subtle yet sweet wedding of 2011. The duo made it official in a 45-minute civil marriage ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall—the same spot where he first wed Linda back in 1969. Following the ceremony, the duo was celebrated with confetti from fans awaiting their exit as an official couple. Mr. and Mrs. McCartney then kept with the mellow theme and headed to a reception at their home in the St. John’s Wood neighborhood to celebrate with friends and family amongst champagne and cake.
