Adam Lambert Gives Details On His Upcoming Album ‘Trespassing’ [VIDEO]
American Idol alumni Adam Lambert called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Thursday to talk about how he ended up in a Finnish jail late last year with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, and more importantly gave Ryan details on his upcoming album Trespassing.

While Adam and Sauli were in Finland in December they: “went out to dinner with Sauli’s friends and family, and we were having a lot of fun. Then we went to a third bar and had one shot too many. We lost track of what was going down.
The news loves to blow things out of proportion in to this violent attack and it wasn’t that at all. It was really us just being stupid and drunk.” He continues, ”It really wasn’t that big of a deal, but after walking away from it I remember thinking:
‘This is a wake up call. This is not the type of behavior that is appropriate. It’s not setting a great example. You live and you learn. You have to learn that kind of stuff.”

Adam switches gears to talk about Trespassing saying: ”I took a whole year off to write and executive produce this album. It’s a bit of a departure from the last album. I got really into the funk music. Dance electro-funk music. I worked with Pharrell Williams which was awesome. I did some darker stuff too. There is going to be a light side and a dark side. So it’s going to really showcase my reality.”

But why name his album Trespassing? The glamrock leader says:
“On one level, I wanted the people listening to feel like they were Trespassing into my world. Getting a closer glimpse in to what makes me tick, and who I am. Not just be the person you see in the tabloids or the person you see on ‘American Idol’, but the full real person.”
