Florence + The Machine Unveil ‘Lover to Lover’ [VIDEO]
In the midst of a blue hue, blurring in and out of focus, Florence Welch stood center stage. No theatrics. Just a harp, guitar and keyboard- overpowered by her strong vocals.
Florence + The Machine unveiled the video for “Lover to Lover,” a track from their newly released album Ceremonials. The video lacked the trending dramatic elements that the band is known for. Instead, the video carried a different note, capturing the artist in her essence in a live setting.
According to their official website, Florence wants the listeners to lose themselves in her music. “It’s something overwhelming and all-encompassing that fills you up, and you’re either going to explode with it, or you’re just going to disappear.”
Even without the popularly recognized magical and whimsical trademark, the spotlight shined just as bright.
Florence + The Machine are set to kick off their tour on April 14 in Santa Barbara, California.
