Selena Gomez Will Be ‘Partying and Drinking’ For Upcoming Film ‘Spring Breakers’
One thing is for sure: Selena Gomez’s new movie will not be playing on the Disney Channel.
The Wizards of Waverly Place actress has been cast to play a role in Spring Breakers, an indie drama film by Harmony Korine about four college students who rob a restaurant to fund their vacation. The students find themselves in jail only to be bailed out by a drug dealer who wants them to do his dirty work.
Selena told E! Online that her character will “get a little crazy.” She continues, “She goes on spring break with her girlfriends and they end up getting into a whole mess of things. They’re partying and drinking. We end up in jail.”
With the show coming to an end and Selena putting a hold on her singing career, the actress was seeking an opportunity to practice a different role. She definitely made sure to find it!
