Jane Carrey may have been cut from “American Idol,” but it is definitely not the end of her singing career. Jane’s high profile last name did not influence the judges’ decision after her shaky performance during Hollywood Week. “I know I can do way better than that so I’m really disappointed,” she said.

Jim Carrey was there as moral support after the rejection. “He has gone through a gamut of rejection before he got where he was. It kind of lights the fire underneath you…has gotten me in a go mode.”
