It’s been a rough year for Katy Perry’s love life, but her music career is still booming. She’s up for multiple nominations at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, and a special edition of her last album called Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection will be released March 27th.

Confection will have all of the mega-hits from the original album plus 3 new tracks. You can hear a snippet from one of them below titled “Part Of Me,” which will be released on February 21st. Like most of Katy’s work, it’s got a great dance beat, but the words and the tone are definitely darker than “California Gurls” or “Teenage Dream.”

“This is the part of me that you’re never gonna ever take away from me… You’re not gonna break my soul” sings the pop queen. Don’t jump to conclusions thinking this tune was written about ex-husband Russell Brand– the song was penned over a year ago, when the couple was still (seemingly) quite happy together.
