Draped in a silk robe, boxing briefs and gloves, the judge-singer-actor extraordinaire shows off her sculpted body in a series of photographs taken by renowned photographer Mario Testino.

With her hair slicked back and her arms up in the air, the “American Idol” judge talked about her success and failures with the magazine. “You’re not going to hit the target or the bull’s-eye every time…you have amazing moments of recognition and success. But at this point in my life, I try to take it all with a grain of salt.”

Instead of letting failure hold her down, Jennifer sees it as a motivational tool: “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”
