19-year-old Josh talks about starring as Peeta in “The Hunger Games,” being homeschooled, and never attending prom! Josh says, “when I got the call that I got the role as Peeta I was literally speechless. In that moment I was shocked, amazed and honestly it didn’t really sink in until I was on set for the first time, when I was finally like oh-my-god here I am with blonde hair in my get up. That was a huge moment for me.”

To prepare for his role as Peeta, Hutcherson had to gain 15lbs of muscle. To accomplish this he was required to participate in rigorous workouts and stick to a strict diet that consisted of  lots of chicken and veggies.
