It’s been nine moving years of ups and downs for The CW’s primetime soap “One Tree Hill,” and it all comes to an end tonight. The show began in 2003 and since then has featured psycho killers, jumps through time, abductions, weddings, deaths, adoptions and a whole lot of basketball drama.

Although former series regulars Hilary Burton and Chad Michael Murray have since left the show, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz and James Lafferty have stuck it out for nine incredible seasons. Tonight, they’ll gather together with other series regulars and faces from the past for the 10th anniversary of Tric, a music nightclub in Tree Hill.

In the preview, Haley opens up a time capsule from the past and tells her son about all the dreams and wishes the teens of Tree Hill used to have. After being abducted and nearly killed this season, Nathan thanks his loving wife for a wonderful life. Brooke takes a visit to her old friend Peyton’s awesome bedroom, an iconic set on the show and the namesake of the character’s company Red Bedroom Records. She also gets a large and sentimental present from husband Julian.

Showrunner Mark Schwahn said that this episode is a thank you to the fans, and that the episode will feature “glimpses of the characters and moments of who they used to be, who they are now and maybe even who they might be.” Intriguing! Be sure to watch the two-hour series finale tonight at 8/7C on The CW, and don’t forget the box of tissues.
