The season finale of “Shahs of Sunset” is packed with the same drama we’ve seen over the last five episodes, but now MJ is taking the spotlight. This week she faces not one but two major dramas in her life that send her world spiraling.

In the aftermath of his discussion with his father, Reza says it feels like a weight has been lifted from his life. Unforutnately his attempts to help MJ make things right with her own over-bearing parent are not successful. “Your mother doesn’t love you,” he insists, which obviously hurts MJ’s feelings.

However, the MJ still sets up a meeting with her mother hoping to clear the air. Once again, she’s shot down by her mother who says that despite her career and talents, MJ is not ambitious enough and definitely isn’t “marriage material.”

Hoping to improve her week, MJ goes on a blind date with her friend Sammy. She’s found him a sexy Jewish girl and she’s excited to see what guy Sammy has picked out, until she realizes it’s an ex that she didn’t miss one bit. He immediately latches onto her, grabbing at her body and shoving his mouth onto hers. Sammy thinks the guy deserves a second chance because “he’s the only one that doesn’t take MJ’s shit” and it’s funny, but MJ isn’t laughing as she races out of the bar.
