The actress and singer had a photo shoot in September last year for Interview magazine, but only one picture was released: a black and white scaled photograph of Selena with damp hair in what appeared to be a meshed top with a denim collar.

Now, outtakes from the shoot have been released that reveal more color and a tough looking Selena, who is barely cracking a smile. Posing in a button down shirt and a skirt as well as a sleeveless denim shirt with a revealing camisole, these pictures capture Selena in a new light.

“Nobody has seen me like that before! For one, I’m not smiling—which is refreshing,” she told the magazine.
