You may already know her as an actress, but Rita Wilson is now adding recording artist to her resume and she called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday to talk about her debut album AM/FM and successful Hollywood marriages.

On Lasting Hollywood Marriages
Rita and her husband Tom Hanks recently celebrated 24 years of marriage. When Ryan suggests that a lasting marriage in Hollywood is an rarity, Rita replied: “There’s lots of people like Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, and Pauletta and Denzel Washington, and Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg, it’s not all dooms day.”

“It’s called AM/FM, because it’s songs that I selected when I remember hearing music in the backseat of my parents car on an AM radio. Those AM songs really were about sort of love and romance and fantasy. Then when I started driving my own car, FM radio was now around and the FM music, aside from being a lot of rock, also introduced sort of singer/songwriters. So, those songs to me, were kind of about what happened when the stuff in the AM fantasy didn’t work out, it’s like AM was the fantasy and then FM songs were the reality.”
