It’s been a busy music day with the release of Justin Bieber‘s new music video “Boyfriend” and Jennifer Lopez dropping “Follow The Leader,” but cinephiles finally get a first long look at the villain in this Summer blockbuster “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

During the lengthy trailer we get a firm grasp of the storyline which follows a young Peter Parker, played by breakout actor Andrew Garfield of Oscar-winning film “The Social Network,” as he discovers a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. Along his soul-bearing quest Spidey is comforted by a blonde bombshell Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, who shares his Spider-man secret. Eventually, Parker’s path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner, who becomes “The Lizard.”
