YouTube sensation Kina Grannis follows her epic stop-motion animation music video, ”In Your Arms,” with with the somber and introspective “Without Me,” a song off of her album Stairwells. In the emotional video, Grannis is seen clipping out newspaper articles of current events, including the struggling economy, the tsunami in Japan, and the aftermath of the shooting in Tuscon, Ariz.

“Another heartfelt letter / Followed by signs of your lament,” Grannis sings as she pins the stories around her, and connects them with yarn.

The video evokes a powerful message of working to make the world a better place, a message to which Grannis is no stranger. She’s used her celebrity to benefit many charities including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
