Blinded by love, Chris Brown follows a fantasy woman in white, portrayed by model Araya Nicks, into three alternate realities in new music video for latest single, “Don’t Wake Me Up.” Directed by Colin Tilley, Breezy is awakened by the realization that the woman he loves only exists in his dreams. The first dream may represent Araya as the white rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland” as she leads him into a foggy garden maze. Leaving him, Chris falls back on the bed, only to be woken up in pursuit. Walking through a door and floating up to the sky, his true feelings become clear on what could be “cloud nine,” a city above the sky.
A wave of reality forces him into another dream state. Breezy, standing alone in the desert, pleads “don’t wake me up” to the rising sun. Stranded in the desert, he is hit and killed by a car driven by his life interest. Even though love can hurt, Chris refuses to give up. A car chase drives him off a cliff.

In the last scene, the couple wakes up in bed, plugged into a machine that has been fostering their experiences. This matrix storyline is supported by the dance beat of the track and Breezy’s heartfelt vocal belt.
The single, “Don’t Wake Me Up” is the latest from his fifth studio album Fortune, out July 3. The album features radio hits “Turn Up The Music,” and “Strip.”
