College Student Uses Blink 182 Lyrics As PickUp Lines [VIDEO]
Blink 182 is back, but it seems as though they were never forgotten due to their dedicated fan base. Their signature song “All Small Things” (2000) trained loyalty with lyrics: “Always I know/ You’ll be at my show.”
After eight years of “indefinite hiatus,” tragedy brought the American pop punk band back together in 2005. Maintaining a pop undertone, the trio of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge infused inspiration from each of their personal musical tastes to create a unique sound that embodied all of their upbringings. Blink 182’s first self-produced sixth studio album Neighborhoods, was released this past September.
The deaths of longtime producer Jerry Finn and close friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein are mourned within the album track list. Songs such as “Up All Night,” “Ghost on the Dance Floor,” and “After Midnight” brings up internal issues such as confusion, isolation, and death.
Continuing their 20th Anniversary Tour in the U.S. and U.K through July, the band is co-headling with My Chemical Romance.
