Before hiding in closets and sneaking under beds, scary monsters must fulfill one requirement: college.

In the first peek at “Monsters University,” the prequel to Disney/ Pixar’s ”Monsters Inc.,” our favorite monsters hit the books to learn the art of the ultimate scare.

Of course, college isn’t all work and no play for the mischievous monsters — poor Mike Wazowski becomes the butt of Sulley’s practical joke which turns our favorite little green monster into a living disco ball.  Sulley glues mirror pieces onto the sleeping Mike, who wears a retainer and cuddles with his “Scaring 101″ textbook.

Not one but four trailers were released today for “Monsters University,” all with slight variations of Mike’s comical sleep talking.

“Monsters University” is set to hit theaters in summer 2013 in 3D.
