The Power Of Twitter & A Retweet for RSP Interns
As new media interns at Ryan Seacrest Productions, we are constantly striving to reach as many readers as possible with curious headlines, catchy tweets, and interesting story angles. Over the past two months, the summer interns have been fortunate enough to receive some sky-high traffic and thousands of page views thanks to celebrities reading our content and then tweeting it out to their followers.

For example, one of our summer interns named Michael Vulpo has a passion for reality TV. He wrote a blog on “The 10 Most Outrageous Reality TV Stars on Twitter.” He tweeted his article to Kathy Griffin who later retweeted it to her 1.5 million followers.

Another summer intern named Jocelyn Rubin wrote an article on a new ad campaign involving Ryan Seacrest and Joel McHale. Joel was able to share the article on his Twitter account where readers could see Jocelyn’s name listed in the byline.
Very generous @RyanSeacrest. Now I have to go through each @fordfusion, let the seat back & remove the phone books. bit.ly/MdHBMd

Summer interns have also had their articles retweeted by the “Today” show, Kevin Jonas, YouTube stars including Avery, Cimorelli, Ryan Beatty, and other personalities. This internship proves you never know who is reading your content. In this case, your favorite stars and television programs may be some of the many readers.
