Yes! Yesterday, Billboard officially announced that Believe is not only number one; it is the biggest album debut of the year. The magazine cites Nielsen SoundScan numbers, saying that Believe sold 374,000 units within its first week of release, beating out Justin’s mentor Usher for the top spot.
But despite the high numbers, the album sales still fell between 36,000 and 66,000 units below what industry insiders predicted it would do. And Justin still has yet to surpass Adele, who remains the record holder for having the most album sales in one week. 21 sold 730,000 copies, according to Billboard, in the week following her award-winning sweep at the Grammys.

The second single off of Believe was recently confirmed to be “As Long As You Love Me,” featuring rapper Big Sean. The song is rumored to be dedicated to Justin’s girlfriend Selena Gomez. Now that Justin has once again proven his superstar status, it’s only a matter of time before the third and fourth singles are released.
What song would you like to see as the album’s third single?
