During her 400m freestyle swim, Ledecky broke Janet Evans‘ 24-year-old national record for the 15-16 year-old age group. Although she finished third and failed to qualify for the Olympics in the 400m, she clinched her spot in the 800m and is expected to shine in London.

Congrats Katie!
