An earthquake shook up Los Angeles this morning, but is there more hype than actual hit?

According to the Huffington Post, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck at 3:18 a.m. this morning two miles southeast of Marina del Rey, three miles from Culver City and five miles from Inglewood. Fire Department spokesman Matt Spence said that firefighters surveyed 470 square miles. No damage was found, and no injuries have been reported.

Some LA residents and celebrities took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the earthquake. For those that it awoke in bed, many thought it was unruly neighbors…and many thought Marina del Rey was an upcoming musical combination of Marina and the Diamonds and Lana Del Rey.
