Tornado, released under Capitol Records, is the group of four’s fifth studio album, and it has already produced a number one single. Tracks on the record include “Pontoon,” “Front Porch Thang,” and “Your Side of the Bed,” which is a touching intense ballad about a couple confronting their issues.

The group is made up of four members Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Roads, Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook. The band has endured and maintained their close friendships throughout their 13-year-run as a country vocal group, and Karen and Jimi are even married to each other in real life! Talk about a story to tell the kids.

The band has been on the road with country superstars Rascal Flatts, and are nominated for three CMA Awards, which are coming up November 1^st. Other artists are showing their support too; Jennifer Nettles of the country duo Sugarland wished the group a congratulations on the new album over Twitter.
