iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012 Country Superstar Brad Paisley Calls Out Green Day at iHeartRadio [PHOTOS]
One thing’s for sure, any girl would be crazy not to want to get some “Mud On the Tires” with country superstar Brad Paisley. But if you’re Green Day, you might wanna watch out.
At the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012, Green Day’s lead singer Billie Joe threw a temper tantrum on stage at at his one minute mark. Fans, and artists, took notice. Brad stepped up to the mic and mocked Billie Jo’s “One Minute Left” speech, announcing that he was going to have open “can of country whoop-ass.” Brad laughed, blowing the joke off as he tastefully poked fun at the rock and roll group.
In ultimate Brad form, not only did he he take the stage wearing a steamy cowboy hat and that cute Brad grin, but he sang some new music for the crowd as well! “I don’t know the words, but neither do you,” explained Brad as he debuted his new single, “Southern Comfort Zone.” He even made a video of the performance on one lucky fan’s phone! His energetic performance left us highly anticipating his new album release on April 9th.
Brad’s smooth voice and country charm put us all in comfort zones of our own. Listen to Brad’s new single, “Southern Comfort Zone” below!
