In his video that was released Thursday night, Usher sings about fighting through the pain to end up better and stronger on the other side. We see tragic hospital scenes, a flashback of him not being able to perform at a Berlin concert in 2011, and dancing inside a literal glass box. We see scenes with his sons at the kitchen table, as he struggles with his personal identity.

In the vid, Usher says he felt like a “failure, hopeless, paralyzed, lonely.” But in the end, we see him break through the glass walls surrounding him. As Usher sings, “life is a battlefield, but bring it on.” Watch the inspirational music video below!
