Anne Hathaway joined ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ to talk about her role as Emma in the highly anticipated film “One Day” and discusses how she almost didn’t get the role.

Anne says, “I read the script, fell in love, flew to London to meet with Lone Scherfig, but I was off that day and I really felt like I wasn’t articulating why I loved Emma so much and how I hoped to play her.” After her off day, Anne played music for Lone that she felt portrayed Emma, and after listening to the music, she offered her the role.

“One Day” is a love story about falling in love with the right person at the wrong time, and finding that love after a long period of time. Anne says, “Love comes from the most unexpected of places.”

To get into the head of her character, Anne listened to music that paralleled the characters journey throughout the film. Anne admitted she uses her music to get into the minds of her characters. Music gets her heart to the place it needs to be for her to play the role. She confesses, “Music is a huge important part, it opens you up.”

Ryan breaks the seriousness of the interview and asks Anne, “Do you think people get more attractive or less attractive over time?”

Anne answers, “It depends who you’re talking about because some people peak early and other people who are late bloomers and blossom over time. I think the most beautiful people are the ones that continue to grow regardless of their age.”

So much of the novel “One Day” takes place in the form of letters, where you are inside the head of the character. So, the actors were worried the story would be lost. These scenes seemed difficult to portray in a film, but they did it, and the final product came out perfectly.

Her scene brings a tear to my eye when you see her sitting in a bathroom stall, eating her lunch alone.

The band Whiskey Shivers releases an unusual music video to their song ‘Give Me All Your Lovin’ where they channel a human centipede. The band’s ultra country singing and bango playing is actually really good; however the music video, in lack for better words, freaks me out!

The lead singer is the head of the cenipede, followed by the rest of his band members making up the rest of his body, popping their heads out every now and then for background vocals. Although the music video may be a little over the top, the band has gotten their name out in the open and have grabbed the attention of viewers.

But may I just say, that ending is creepy!!!

The sorority girls from University of Alabama are persuading girls to ‘Go Greek’ in a creative way. These girls remix, ‘Look At Me Now’ and ‘Friday’, changing the lyrics to promote sorority recruitment at the University of Alabama. These girls may need some lessons on how to rap, but if I weren’t rushing a sorority, this video would definately change my mind.

This video is promoting all the sororities on campus at University of Alabama, made by the schools Rho Chi’s. Rho Chi’s are members from each sorority that have disafilliated (no contact with their chapter, no promoting their chapter) from their house to become neutral in order to help the new members who are going through recruitment.

There girls definitely got creative with their rush video, and I think it is safe to bet their recruitment will have more girls going through than past years! The girls then finish the video with their main message, “Going greek, going greek YA, going greek, going greek YA.”

Recent rumors have been surfacing that Britney Spears and Lady Gaga will be collaborating on a new single or possibly a full length album. The rumor started after Jay-Z and Kanye West’s album ‘Watch The Throne’ dropped. The rumored name of the album is jokingly being referred to as ‘Pop The Throne’; however, the Spears Gaga collaboration is just a rumor.

How amazing would a duet between Spears and Gaga be; two of the most extravagant and talented pop artists today. Although Spears and Gaga are not set to collaborate, we do know that there will be a Britney Tribute at next weekend’s MTV VMAs, and Gaga is reportedly performing in the epic mash-up.

Alongside Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Janet Jackson, Demi Lovato, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj will be performing in the Britney Tribute. The Britney Tribute is for her Lifetime Achievement Award which is an amazing honor at only 29 years old.

Channing Tatum is the title character who takes Alex Pettyfer under his wing and teaches him how to ‘work the stage’. I wonder where Tatum picked up all his stripper moves, possibly from his past life? Interesting that Tatum would star in a movie about stripping, considering he WAS a stripper in Tampa, Florida before his acting career took off. At least he is putting his stripping past to good use for the new movie ‘Magic Mike’.

Alongside Tatum and Pettyfer is the smokin’ hot Matthew McConaughey who plays Dallas, a former dancer who now runs ‘Xquisite’, the club where Tatum and Pettyfer dance. Hopefully we’ll get to see some shirtless scenes with all three men; my mouth is watering already.
