After being eliminated from The Bachelor following the hometown visits during Sean Lowe‘s season, the 26-year-old reveals she was “emotional because I thought it was a mistake at the time, but of course that’s changed.”

So what has Des returning to the TV dating world?

“I wanted to come back because I know from first-hand experience the feelings are very real and you really can form a relationship from it … throughout this season you’ll see I really wanted to make sure I was going to be the right person for them, as well, because I was really aware of that. There are “double standards,” Desiree admitted. “I do think that being a girl you’re judged a little bit differently, but I don’t get it. I try to take each and every relationship completely separate so when you’re dating someone you have to kiss to see if there’s going to be a connection. That’s where it’s tricky.”

Naturally, Des will be kissing a lot of eligible men this season. Of her suitors, Ryan mentioned he’s rooting for Brooks, while Ellen is for Juan. But what about Zach who shows up shirtless in the first episode and asks, “Will you accept these abs?”

“That is not my desire at all,” said Desiree. “It was a surprise for me to even be on TV, so I want nothing more to go back to my normal day to day life … I definitely don’t want to be an actress, not at all.”

The actor phoned in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk about his brand new flick, as well as his son and that comment he made in Men’s Fitness about body image.

Vin shares that the film franchise “has blossomed into something bigger than we even imagined in the beginning … If you think of Fast & Furious as two trilogies, this would be the conclusion of the second trilogy.”

And after leaving us in the last movie thinking that his love interest Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) was dead, Vin explains: “When we did Fast & Furious 4, it was a re-teaming of the band and getting everyone back … all the core cast. [Michelle] wanted to do the movie, but she didn’t want her character to die. So if you look at the fourth film … you’ll see that we told the story without confirming she was dead.”

So will we see another trilogy? “Thank god, Universal is making this saga with some long-lead sights where they’re planning what happens over multiple pictures, as opposed to what happened in the first trilogy where it was fragmented and the stories weren’t connected. The whole fun of this now is the studio has owned it like a saga.”

And aside from racing and working it out in the action-packed flick, the actor’s also taken up a hobby of singing — and his biggest fans are his kids. Vin says that his cover of Rihanna‘s “Stay,” which went viral earlier this year, is their “favorite song.”

And the touching version has even more of a special meaning now. “I had to take my 2-year-old son to the emergency room because was trying to jump and bit down [on] his tooth. We get to the hospital and he sits down on the bed and they’re tyring to hold him down to calm him and they can’t calm him and he asked me to play that video for him. I almost cried. My 2-year-old son at the moment he needed to feel the most calm … he asks me to play Daddy’s video for him.”

And of course we had to ask about the comment he made to Men’s Fitness about how Hollywood is harder on men than woman when it comes to their physique.

So what did the buff star mean? “It prompts an interesting topic,” he said. “I had never even thought about this, but are male actors supposed to do a certain something nowadays? Are they expected to be in incredible shape? Does the public want their male actor to be in the gym 24 hours a day or do whatever they have to do?”

Vin adds although he feels the pressure for certain characters, “I think there is a perception of what some of these action heroes are supposed to look.”

Still, he also appreciates being less in shape. ”But if I’m doing a different kind of movie, like a courtroom drama and look out-of-shape … that’s equally as fun for me.”

The two friends revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest that they joined forces when Tyler just called up Oprah.

“I was on the phone with him one day and he said, ‘You know what? I can help you out … I can write something for you. Why don’t you let me write something for your network?’ And I was like, ‘You’re too busy because aren’t you going to have your own network?’ At the time, he was working on his own network and I never want to be the imposing friend. I said, ‘You know? I’ll be okay.’ And as time went on we realized that him coming to help me out on OWN and offer his talent to our network was really going to be the best for me and also for him. So that’s really how it happened.”

The scripted shows the two joined forces for are The Haves and the Have Nots and Love Thy Neighbor.

Tyler describes The Haves and the Have Nots as “a nighttime soap drama that takes you back to Dallas and Knots Landing and those kind of shows that I grew up on and love so much … John Schneider is in it and a lot of new faces … I think the audience will love it because it’s one of those shows … that’s designed to take you on a roller coaster and never let you go until it’s time to get off.”

As for how Oprah and Tyler’s process is when it comes to giving notes, Oprah shared: ”I’ve called Tyler from the treadmill and been like, ‘Oh my goodness! What is going on in your brain?’”

“I watch episodes on the treadmill from my iPad … Tyler was sending me the episodes supposedly for me to critique. I only had a couple critiques … if you’re talking about the covering on the chair in the office then that’s not too bad.”

Even though she’s considered the Queen of Daytime TV, Oprah said, “You know, I don’t watch a lot of TV …this is the most TV I’ve watched since Mary Tyler Moore went off, except for Scandal … I was tweeting the week before literally, I realized, I’m holding my breath. I need to breathe!”

So have the BFFs gotten into any friendly tiffs over creative differences?

“I’m not the fighting kind,” Oprah admitted. “I call him Moses at times. [He's like,] ‘What does that really mean? I’m hearing a pause?’ I was like, ‘I’m just tryng to sip my tea, Tyler.’”

Tyler added: “The way we communicate as friends is we really respect each other, [so] there’s really none of that.”

Aside from working on their first scripted shows, Oprah’s also been busy Instagramming photos of her gorgeous and robust garden.

“That’s just my teeny-tiny garden,” she said. “I’m going into the garden business in Hawaii … I have an organic farm in Maui. The truth is I love gardening. It takes me back to my Mississippi roots, but at the time when I was growing up I didn’t want the garden. I wanted store-bought food. I was like, ‘Grandma, how come we can’t have the peas from the can?’ … But now, it’s a hobby that nourishes me in more ways than one and when you have so much, I’ve been giving it to neighbors, to restaurants. So eventually I’ll turn it into a business particularly in Maui.”

I mean you make a few movies together and that’s bound to happen, especially with a group of guys that are so cool … Of course, we’ll never talk to each other after this one, but we’re a family for now,” Justin joked.

The rapper, who was raised listening to motivational tapes, shared: ”My mom actually raised me off of Anthony Robbins. I would sit in the car going to fifth grade…[and] I went to go touch the radio and she had the motivational tapes in there and she said, ‘Do you pay for this car?’ I said, ‘No’. She said, ‘Don’t touch my radio.’”

And it was those messages that formed the foundation for his success today. ”I don’t believe in failure,” says Pitbull. “I just believe in epic learn[ing] … it taught you there’s no success without failure and there’s no winning without losing.”

When Pitbull came in to the studio, we couldn’t help but notice how good he smelled. Naturally, he says his next venture is fragrance. “It’s my new cologne. Look out for something I’m working on now, I can’t say the name yet cause it’s not properly trademarked, but as soon as it is, just look for it.”

But music still is a main part of Pit’s life and he’s once again climbing the charts with his latest hit song, “Live It Up” with Jennifer Lopez. ”You know what’s funny, I picked this record two years ago in Paris with [producer] Red One. I was in there with him … he actually played me a bunch of hits that come off Nicki Minaj‘s record … I heard them before she jumped on and I heard this one and he’s like, ‘My brother, I’m thinking of giving it to Jennifer Lopez’…and I said, ‘Well if J.Lo doesnt take it, just know, I’m gonna take it!’ And then sure enough we ended up doing it together.”

Working with Jennifer was quite the learning experience. Pit revealed that he “learns a lot from her every time I get the chance, I just watch how she moves. How diligent she is, militant at times, but very professional and a hard worker.”

And for his upcoming animated flick Epic, he got to work with other huge names in Hollywood.

“When I got involved with Epic I didn’t know who was involved with it, so it’s a true honor to be in the same movie as a voice with Steven Tyler, Beyoncé Knowles, Colin Farrell and when I got involved I didn’t know anybody … all they showed me was a frog and I said, ‘I’m game. I’ll be a frog. It’s good to be a frog in a forest; get a kiss, become a prince, you know how that works…but [his character] Bufo was great then I came back and they had a suit on him and they used my facial gestures and my hands …When I saw my voice on the frog, I felt like a little kid again. So now I’m the big joke around my kids, the ‘pooper of parties,’ they’re always like, ‘Papi’s a frog!’”

And after talking all business, we had to ask, what above love for the rapper? ”I’m in love with the hustle. I’m in love with the journey,” Pitbull joked.”The only real thing in my life are the real people in my life so I’m very protective of them.”

He also admitted there won’t be a Mrs. Worldwide any time soon. ”I’m happily unmarried. I’m not a big believer of a piece of paper telling me that me and you love each other …A good friend told me, ‘I don’t get married, so I don’t get divorced.’”
