Mike Trout Tells Ryan Seacrest His Baseball Dreams Came True On ‘TODAY‘

NBC’s Special Correspondent joined Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and the entire TODAY gang for a fun hour as co-host. Ryan was able to put his love of music to good use as he interviewed American Idol castoff Janelle Arthur. He also helped introduce Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, who recently teamed up for a brand new album.

The co-hosts later came together to discuss the songs they simply can’t get out of their heads. After Matt burst out to Sting‘s “Roxanne,” Ryan revealed ‘Thrift Shop” by Macklemore is his personal earworm.

Ryan was also able to show off his goofy side during several segments. The Idol host proved he has plenty of modern manners as the group got a lesson in how to behave. With a little help from Sandra Lee, Ryan competed in a competitive cake-off with Savannah. With her first baby due in July, Kim told Ryan she hasn’t experienced any morning sickness…yet! “It’s just really painful everywhere,” the 32-year-old said. “I’m in pain physically.” Khloe said she thought Kim was being dramatic, while Kourtney laughed that never happened to her.

Why They Are Famous:
The question that bugs Bruce and Kris the most: Why are the Kardashians famous? “I think they are talented fashion designers,” Kris said of her daughters. Bruce concurred and added, “Where their real talent is they are smart, work very hard and do a great job.”

Favorite Episodes:
Bruce shared he loved the recent “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” episode when the family got competitive in a kayak race. Kris thinks Khloe’s wedding special will always be the most memorable. Ryan admitted his favorite was when Kourtney gave birth to Mason and pulled him out with her own hands. “That was incredible,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like that.”

Kim & Kanye’s Love:
When asked whether she would marry again, the expectant mom lit up. “I do think I would get married again,” Kim said. “I found out what I really wanted.” What does boyfriend Kanye West think of the reality show? “He loves the show and loves watching…He loves the whole experience.”

Kourtney & Scott’s Relationship:
The mother of two admitted she was the least excited about the reality show when it first started. But once cameras started rolling, Kourtney and Scott started to care less about what everyone thought of their relationship. “We’ve become stronger because of all these problems,” Scott said. Will a wedding ever be in their future? “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” Scott said. “We are basically pretty happy.”
