Are Emily and Jef Never Ever Getting Back Together? 
“He was with me this week, we hung out and had a good time. We’re still really good friends, but he’s kind of gone missing the last few days. Of course [he confides in me about Emily], we’re really good friends. I know the break-up was really tough for him and he just really wasn’t himself the last few days. I think he’s taking his time and seeing if there’s still a future there. I think in any relationship when you have a break-up and you’re apart for that period of time, you miss each other and you never know what can happen.”

What Does He Hope For Jef and Emily?
“I don’t know if Jef and Emily are back together. I just want Jef to be happy. I know the break-up was tough, and I know he went back to North Carolina to handle some stuff. I don’t know if they’re hanging out, he won’t answer my phone calls! Either way, I want  him to be happy.”

Apparently so; and the new girl is even another “Bachelor” alum from Ben Flajnik‘s season! “Courtney [Robertson] is a really cool girl. We had a kiss, I took her out on a date. We actually met on Twitter which is kind of funny.” Looks like Courtney can’t get enough of these Bachelor men.

When Is The Wedding?
“We don’t have like a specific date set yet. We were just now able to tell our family and friends that we were engaged, you know? He’s going to move to Charlotte and then we’re just gonna take it day by day. Hopefully in the spring sometime,” Emily tells us. So, will the wedding be televised? “People keep asking us that and I keep saying the same thing like, we don’t even know what we’re going to eat for lunch tomorrow and I certainly never thought I was going to be ‘The Bachelorette‘ so I’ve learned to never say never, but it’s like something that we’ll have to talk about when the time comes, as a family.”

Will Emily Take Jef’s Name?
“Well, you know even though I went on ‘The Bachelor‘ and ‘Bachelorette‘ I’m pretty traditional, believe it or not, so yeah for sure,” Emily says.

On The Scandal Surrounding Jef’s Name:
“I mean, my full name’s Jeffrey with two F’s, but then, I mean when I was little, really little, when I was in like fifth grade, one of my friends just suggested that we change it and it just kind of stuck,” Jef tells us. “It’s like one of those names, you know, like nicknames are taken on and it just kind of sticks, and I’ve just been known by that just my whole life.”

On The Proposal:
How did Emily feel when Jef proposed? “Omigosh. I mean, I was in shock,” she says. “I had never had anybody say such sweet things and such personal things. It wasn’t a generic proposal by any means.” So, did Jef know she would say yes? “Yeah, I felt it,” he told us. “To be honest I knew that we had something very special, very unique. Yeah I did. I loved her and I thought she would say yes and I knew she would.”

Was it a tough decision to choose between the final two? “Um, no not really. I mean it was hard sending Arie home obviously, but what Jef and I had was so different than I’ve ever had that it was an easy decision,” Emily explains.
