On Matthew McConaughey Stipping & Wedding
“I had preconceived notions about it. I think I thought, ‘Wow, that’s really weird,’ but once you get in front of 200 screaming women. I mean, they ripped McConaughey’s thong off at one point, the girls.” Did Matt mind the pawing? “They signed off paperwork that said basically, ‘the animals in the zoo will bite,’ you know, and you’re ok with that, and then they were handed stacks of dollar bills and were told, ‘go for it,” but I don’t really think they needed much encouragement, I mean they were wild.” Did Matt ever wear a shirt? “At times I think he’s wearing a leather vest, and at one point he’s wearing a yellow spandex halter top.” Did Joe go to Matt’s wedding? “No, I didn’t go to his wedding.”

On Being A Stripper In Upcoming “Magic Mike”:
“It’s really funny. It’s funny almost in like a 80s pro-wrestler kind of way. How can any of us take ourselves seriously with American flag thongs on and fireman suits? It’s really kind of wish fulfillment I would think for a lot of guys out there.”

How Can Guys Go & Buy Tickets To This Movie?
“I’ll give you a parallel. Any guy, any straight guy out there who’s gone and like hung out in the back row of a yoga class… See “Magic Mike” and it’s gonna be fish in a barrel. I think we’re gonna do alright.”

Hunky “True Blood” actor Joe Manganiello stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday to chat about what we can expect from the fourth season, and how he got cast as sexy werewolf, and the women who want to sit on his lap.

When you look like Joe Manganiello, you are going to have people who ask you for certain special requests. Joe tells us of an occurrence of this.

“This guy came up to me and said ‘Hey, can she take a picture sitting on your lap?’ and I said ‘It’s really not appropriate this is my fiance sitting here, I really don’t think it’s appropriate,’ and he said ‘Dude, this is my wife.’ and it’s happened multiple times.” Joe adds, “I don’t know if it was like they have their freebie lists, like if you ever meet him you get the hall pass.”

Growing up Joe loved werewolves and vampires and dark content, so it was no surprise that he was a fan of the show before he got cast in the role of Alcide Herveaux.

10 Things To Expect in Season 4 of ‘True Blood’

“They brought me in for another werewolf character, Cooter, and there was a whole bit about it in the audition and basically the audition was me coming out of a transformation. Transforming from wolf back to man.” Joe was originally only hired for 6 episodes on the show, but after his first episode aired last year they offered him six more years.

Currently on the show Joe is in a love square with Sookie, Bill and Eric. Joe explains why his character has a bit of an advantage,”There are these 3 guys who are all vying for her affections and she is kind of stuck in the middle, but what is interesting is my character is the one who is not a vampire so he can go out in the daytime.”

Joe also confirms that this weeks episode of “True Blood” is going to be crazy, “It’s about as crazy as it gets, there’s a lot of nudity. I’ll just say that.”
